How To Secure Your Child's Re-Enrollment:

To complete our online re-enrollment form, you will need to access your Family Portal account through your existing login.

To access Family Portal:

  • Please go to FACTS Family Portal
  • Type in your username and password.
  • Go to left-side Navigation Menu
  • Click on Apply/Enroll
  • Click on Enrollment/Reenrollment

The FACTS system will open with a link to the re-enrollment application for your child. The process should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your information will be saved if you need to quit and come back later.

The Northern Academy Admissions Office will process your child’s re-enrollment form and will reach out to you if there’s any questions.

Processing time will take 3-10 business days.

Once your child’s re-enrollment form has finished processing, you will receive an email containing the following forms: 

1. Tuition Agreement

  1. The Tuition Agreement, issued by the Tuition Office, will be sent to parents via email by the Admissions Office. The Tuition Agreement must be signed by the parent(s)/legal guardian(s).
  2. Tuition & Fees Policy: The policy includes the Tuition and Fee Schedule as well as the Payment Schedule. Please use this as your reference throughout the year.

2. Enrollment Consent & Required Documents

In the Enrollment Consent & Required Documents Form, you will need to upload the following required documents:

  1. Proof of Legal Parental Status and Student Identity*
    1. A copy of the student’s birth certificate that includes the parents’ names OR A copy of custody/guardianship court order
    2. A completed and notarized copy of the Temporary Guardianship Appointment form (Required of all homestay students)

    3. Hosts must send the completed and signed Agreement and Waiver of Liability form to admissions@northernacademy.org.

  2. Insurance*
    1. All students are required to have a valid health insurance in the US.
  3. Immunization Record*
    1. Compare the NYS vaccination requirements to your child’s vaccination records.
  4. Northern Medical Center (NMC) Consent Form

  5. Physical Examination (completed after August 17, 2024)

*Upload your child’s documents only if they differ or have expired from those submitted last year. Those who do not have any updated documents can upload a document that states “I do not have any updated documents to upload.”

You will receive your child’s Official Enrollment email after completing and clearing both the Tuition Agreement form and the Enrollment Consent & Required Documents form.

The Official Enrollment email contains vital information, including your child’s enrollment date, boarding details, and more.

Other Important Information:

Northern Academy does not provide transportation to and from the airport.

Day students

Day students are students who are living with their parents.

Boarding Students

Under the legal doctrine of in loco parentis, the school automatically takes parental responsibility for these students. Boarding students will maintain residence in the on-campus dormitories.

Parents of boarding students need to ensure that Northern Academy has the updated version of the following documents:
