Admissions

To apply, please follow the steps below to begin the admissions process:

Step 1: Complete and upload all necessary documents to the online application form (incl. $80 non-refundable application fee)

Step 2: Obtain at least two student recommendation letters (one from an English teacher, and another from a Math teacher) You may also complete our Request for Teacher Recommendations Form via this link

Step 3: Complete the English and Math assessments (please check your inbox for the assessment email and link)

Step 4: Attend an admissions interview/audition, typically scheduled after the complete application package has been received by the Admissions Office

Step 5: A decision notice is typically sent within 2 weeks of the interview/audition

The applications for our 2025 Spring semester are now open. 

Application period for our spring semester will conclude on November 29, 2024. Please be sure to complete your child’s application package before the deadline.

WHAT THE TUITION COVERS

The tuition covers instruction Monday through Friday, with

  • Some Saturdays per school calendar
  • Extracurricular/after school enrichment activities after 3:00pm.
  • Day student pickup time is within 30 minutes of the last class of the day, between 3:30pm to 6:30pm
  • Onsite day lunch, technology, library, one-time SAT exam, counseling, college planning and graduation related services
OTHER PROGRAM-RELATED COSTS
  • General Fee: $650 (administrative, department fee, general heath, activities, and trips)
  • English as a New Language (ENL): ENL 1 & 2 – $5,000, ENL 3 – $3,000
  • Health Package: $297
  • School Uniform: $350-$450, (direct purchase from Lands’ End)
  • Standardized Testing Fees (PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP exams): Variable between $45-$200
  • College Tour: An optional multi-day, multi-city tour guided by teachers and counselors. The cost is estimated to be $250-$350, which includes the cost of transportation, accommodations and meals.

Financial Aid & Scholarship

Northern Academy of the Arts strives to provide financial aid to qualified students based on each student’s need and merit.

  • Financial aid is normally awarded on a yearly basis with the possibility of renewal.
  • Qualified applicants with financial difficulties may pay a sliding scale tuition.
  • Students seeking financial aid in their first year must apply concurrently with the application for admission.

Payment Methods

Tuition and fee payments are accepted only via ACH transfer.

We do not accept check or cash payments.
