Dance
Discover dance at Northern Academy’s Arts Department. Our Dance program blends Classical Chinese Dance and Ballet techniques with principles of classical culture. Rigorous training fosters strength, grace, and discipline, while academic excellence is maintained.
Fine Arts
Our Fine Arts classes serve after-school students who wish to improve their traditional painting skills and have a strong interest in learning art. Through structured instruction, students explore diverse art media to develop artistic perception and creative abilities.
Music
Join Northern Academy’s Music Program for a strong foundation in classical music. From instrumental classes to music theory, our courses foster growth in academics and the arts. The Music Track empowers students to excel in both realms.
How To Apply
Dance:
- The completed dance program questionnaire
- Standing full frontal length
- Standing full back length
- Splits in dance or gymnastic attire or other form-fitting clothes
- A bridge in dance or gymnastic attire or other form-fitting clothes
- Physical Exam Form: Required of all Dance Program applicants. Must be completed within the last 12 months. A sample of the Physical Exam Form can be found here.
Music:
- The completed music program questionnaire
- All music applicants must provide a link to their most recent performance video below. Please be sure to include the title and composer of your piece.
Fine Arts:
- Any artwork your child have
Complete the after-school registration form and upload your child’s complete portfolio.
Make sure to upload your child’s complete portfolio as processing will start when the portfolio is complete.
Your submitted registration will be processed in 3–5 business days.
If you’ve applied for either the dance or music program, we’ll use this time to schedule your child’s audition.
Once accepted, your applied program department chair will send you an acceptance email.
Complete the Acceptance and Enrollment form to ensure enrollment.
